Who do we serve?

Living Well serves the entire community.  While targeted individual are generally those whose income is just above federal poverty guidelines, Living Well provides assistance to anyone who contacts us through our various programs that are offered both for free or on a sliding-scale depending strictly upon need.  Living Well does; however, currently limit available services to residents of Pima County, AZ with a vision for expansion into Pinal, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties.

Screening, coordinated partnerships with local agencies and on-going monitoring ensure that each client receives the assistance they need, while preventing any duplication of services.

How do we serve them?

·        Service Coordination – Our gateway program, requiring potential clients to exhaust all existing remedies before being considered for assistance.  Living Well helps contact these groups as part of our coordinated partnership with local agencies.

·        Legal Assistance Program Provision of legal assistance for fraud, harassment, family law, small claims, small personal injury, assault & real estate issues); court-ordered services such as mediation, anger management, traffic school survival, and DUI courses at free or low cost for those who fall in the gap between those who would qualify for Legal Aid or other free or reduced-cost representation programs and e needs of our youth to help them achieve success.

·    At Risk Youth Initiative A program targeted specifically to address the needs of at-risk youth.  Providing legal representation, counseling and mentoring geared specifically towards the needs of our youth to help them achieve success.

·        Mentoring - Providing guidance and support to clients during times of economic and personal crisis.  Links clients to staff, volunteer and community mentors to achieve personal goals of self-sufficiency.

o       Financial Counseling - Ranging from basic to comprehensive budgeting services

o       Employment Preparation - Individualized needs and education assessment, including local job referrals and basic résumé preparation.

o       Education Planning - Guidance in pursuing client’s goals to complete their education and provide stable support for their family.

Future programs

Our long-term goal is to provide comprehensive assistance that would include medical services, counseling, education, parenting classes and other needs as identified by our clients.

Living Well has identified the following programs as a priority in future program development:

·        Emergency Assistance – Providing full or supplemental coverage for housing, health care, food, clothing, transportation, medical fees and other necessary fees for a limited duration.  Services provided when existing community resources are inadequate or absent.

·        Transitional Housing – Providing short-term affordable housing for clients while they complete a coordinated program geared toward long-term self-sufficiency.

Helping those in crisis live victoriously and achieve peace of mind.
